Super Stars!

Have you heard about Super Stars? In preschool we have about an hour each day to work on whatever we choose. It could be puzzles, working with magnets, practicing pouring and scooping, playing with the ocean animals, building with blocks or many, many other things. Some of the choices are more challening than others. They require more attention span and more persistence. These 'work' stations might include matching cards, our dice game, a difficult puzzle or spelling games. When the children finish one of the 'challenging' projects they earn a Super Star. When your child fills his or her sheet it will come home with them and they will start a new one. These are a big deal! They represent a lot of hard work and I hope that you give them an extra big hug when you see one come home.
