Last week we learned about pumpkins. From seed, to sprout, to vine, flower, little green pumpkin and then to big orange pumpkin. We cut one open and smelled it, touched the slimy insides, found the seeds and saw the thick rind.
Then...we read this book and laughed and laughed. There is a BIG difference between a pumpkin and a Jack-o-Lantern! If you only add one book to your preschooler's library this year, this might be the one.
